Hey y’all!
I’m currently in the midst of the aftermath of hurricane Ida. I was extremely lucky and had minimal damage to my home, but we’ve had no electricity since Sunday night (8/29).
This morning, Entergy (power co.) announced that the estimated timeline for my area to be restored is by Wednesday (9/8).
There are many, MANY others like me who are in need of accommodations for the next 5 days. Especially people (like me) who have pets.
Is there a way for us to promote hosts willing to help those displaced by Ida?
Or ask hosts to accept just pets so people can have a safe place for their furbabies?
Any ideas, suggestions, critiques, recommendations, etc are HIGHLY appreciated!
