Hey!

I have feedback on the map ^^

  1. I’ve noticed that once you’ve rotated the map, there’s no button to make it face North again, would it be possible to fix that? Hopefully that’s not too hard!

  2. And it would be nice to be able to apply filters to the map, like displaying only people who are active and can host! The current way with search to set those filters doesn’t let us choose a whole country then zoom in on the map, so sadly we end up choosing just a city, and we can only see hosts in that city, not in the cities from the suburbs which are right next to it and could probably be a great fit.

    The way I would do it is:

    • the filters you choose would be applied to the whole world map, and reduce the number of markers compared to the full map
    • searching for a place only zooms in (and maybe also colors) that place, but doesn’t remove any markers

    You could even do that while keeping the interface the same and doing just a few logic changes + adding the zoom in (+ maybe area coloring)

I see another problem: in the map potential hosts are all grey. That conventionally is the colour for not active. Just before using different colours for can/cannot host want/dontwant meet (4 colours total) could be possible to change to light green or blue ?
