All hospex communities currently suffer by lack of developers, or when bidding to “professional” ones get very bad results.
My idea is to introduce just one “small” feature:
An OAuth2 server, that could authenticate community user, allowing third party to make a site that add features to the community, without having to be made by/in the community.
So if someone want to make an used camping equipment site, for community users, could do it, allowing to authenticate with community credentials (that would not be passed to the third party site admin).
Similarly a “gallery” site copuld be easily implemented, or one with calendars, with all possible fatures.
